Silicon Valley Tour Terms, Conditions, and Policy

Many sites, firms, and museums are closed on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, as well as during holidays and weekends; this varies from place to place. Admission fees for most museums and sites are not included in your tour price. It is recommended to check the schedules, closures, and hours of operation of these places and firms before booking your tour to avoid any misunderstandings.

🔗 Computer History Museum: Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays and for private events without prior notice. Open from 10 am to 5 pm Wednesday to Sunday (may close at any time without prior notice as it's a private museum).

🔗 Stanford Campus Walking Tour: Offers a 70-minute free walking tour at 10:45 am and 3 pm upon availability (closed during holidays, inaugurations, and private events).

🔗 NASA Ames Research Center: Open Tuesday - Friday 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. and Saturday - Sunday noon - 4 p.m., closed Mondays and federal holidays and for private events.

🔗 Children's Discovery Museum of San Jose: Schedule changes constantly.

Understand that many sites, firms, parks like Alcatraz and Muir Woods, or universities like Stanford, do not allow tour guides to conduct tours inside their campus or perimeters. Parking in places like Stanford is a major issue, regardless of the vehicle size; customers with vehicles more than 7 seats require an extra $400 parking fee at Stanford.

This tour lasts 8 hours for door-to-door service when starting and ending in San Francisco. When the Silicon Valley tour starts or ends in the Silicon Valley area (instead of San Francisco), it lasts a maximum of 6 hours due to the 90-minute drive each way between San Francisco and Silicon Valley, with additional time for the driver to return to San Francisco.

• Weather Conditions: San Francisco Bay Area enjoy ideal weather—never too hot or too cold. It’s great year-round, but layers up even in summer. Summers can be cool and foggy while winter is the rainy season (late October–early April). Dress appropriately with a rain jacket (windbreaker), sneakers or hiking shoes for trails, and bring an umbrella just in case.
